Happy New Year!

2017 is here and we are looking forward to the new year. Unfortunately there will be no Olympics this year, and neither a great FIFA World Cup, but still there will be lots of stuff happening!

For TV viewers one of the highlights of the year has already taken place. On the first day of 2017 BBC aired the first out of three episodes showing the super detective Sherlock played by Benedict Cumberbatch. There will be a total of three episodes and the last one will be aired on January 15th. You might not have access to BBC where you live, but there are still ways in which you can access BBC from abroad, so press the link to find out how you can watch the new Sherlock episodes right away. Do not forget that they will only be available for thirty days, so hurry up!

There will be lots of great movies also coming in 2017 and probably Star Wars VIII is the most expected of all movies. Will Disney be able to keep the story up and keep the fans happy as we continue the story where The Force Awakens ended? They for sure succeeded in Rogue One: A Star Wars story, a movie which we also enjoyed very much, even though the end was quite sad. But, after considering the end of the movie it had to be that way, so at once we sat down to watch Star Wars: A New Hope to see how the story went on (even though we had seen the movie several times before).

Happy New Year

It will be very interesting to follow the VPN world and the VPN blocks as well in 2017. As most of us know services like Netflix, Amazon Prime, Tenplay, BBC and other websites made it almost impossible to use VPN services in 2016. In addition lots of countries around the globe started their bans of VPN services in order to get control and limit all Internet activity in their very own nations. How will this progress in 2017? We do not believe things will get easier, but using a Virtual Private Network might be even more important than before, at least if you want to protect your online activity and sensitive information. More and more governments can follow you online (and they do) to find out what you are doing, to spy on you and to check whether what you do is right or wrong. In itself that would be nice if they only found terrorists, but this can also be used to invade your privacy, and when that is happening then it ain’t correct anymore. This is a hard topic to discuss, but it will for sure be brought up lots of times in 2017.

Happy new year!

We look forward to the new year. We hope you are as well!
