I have just tested the one VPN provider I do know to work with both 10Play and 9Now (and also with ABC iview), and that is NordVPN and SurfsharkVPN. I can firmly say that their servers are working. As a result, this is the VPN service you need to pick and choose if you want to stream 10Play and 9Now outside Australia. You can use both providers to watch live streams and on-demand programs on 9Now, and you can use both to stream on-demand content on 10Play (live streams doesn’t seem to work).

- First of all, try to connect to the different servers in Australia and give them a try. By default, everyone should work, but if you have trouble, connect to a different server in a different city.
- Contact the customer service through the live chat at the SurfsharkVPN/NordVPN website.
- Make sure to open your browser in Privacy/Private/Incognito mode. This is to make sure all cookies and stored information is removed, which will help you get access to the services without your browser sharing information about your previous whereabouts with the websites. This is normally not necessary, but it is a good advice in case you have trouble.
If you follow all these instructions, you should have a working method as of July 2020 that will help you stream both 9Now and 10Play outside Australia.
