These are the four main movies, and this is what most people actually are interested in when they want to know what’s coming to HBO. The big movie premieres are what makes HBO so great, and they do have some nice highlights in October as well.
Cold Pursuit on HBO Now
Cold Pursuit is a “traditional” Liam Neeson movie. He is a peaceful man living among the snow, plowing the road, and an honored citizen. One day, he gets to know that his son died from an overdose. The only thing is, he is convinced that his son didn’t do drugs. So what happened? Liam Neeson takes matters into his own hands, and suddenly drug-lords starts to disappear. What is going on? I guess Liam Neeson is on the movie.
I am not sure if this is meant to be a 100% action movie, or 50% action and 50% comedy. I guess it is meant to be action, but based on the trailer, it looks quite funny as well!
Happy Death Day 2U on HBO Now in October
I have never heard of this movie, but the trailer makes me think of Groundhog Day in a horror and scary kind of way. A girl is waking up to the same day, and some kind of horror baby hunting her down. This is okay and she thinks she has gotten out of the loop, but then suddenly she is back in it again. But, this time the monster is hunting down her friends as well. To fix it, she needs to make all her friends live through the day, and get out of the loop. If a friend dies, she has to die as well, all the way until she manages to keep all her friends alive and do the magic stuff to get out of the loop. Does it sound cool? You can stream Happy Death Day 2U on HBO Now in October 2019.
Glass coming to HBO Now in October
Glass was one of the highest expected movies in cinemas worldwide in the first half of 2019. It was the final movie in the trilogy story, and it was incredibly popular. Many people who looked forward to the movie ended up being a bit disappointed by this movie. A frequent complaint was that they felt as if the movie was made as a third, simply because it was expected and because they had to. As a result, the story was suffering. But, if you haven’t seen Glass yet, this is your chance to watch it as it will come to HBO Now on October 19th in 2019.
Greta coming to HBO Now in October 2019
I guess I am out of shape when it comes to going to the theater because I hadn’t heard about Greta before either. After watching the first minute of the trailer, I thought this was going to be a nice movie. But, then it all heated up and turned into yet another thriller about a crazy lady leaving her purse around, only to lure people back to her home. There she treats them well but slowly becomes obsessed with the people she trick. That is the story of Greta. But, how crazy is the tricky old lady?
Everything else coming to HBO in October 2019
There are some great movies coming to HBO in October 2019. Most of these movies are old classics like the Black Swan from 2010, George of the Jungle from 1997, and also the amazing Moulin Rouge! from 2001. If you like good music, the latter is something you for sure should watch.

What’s leaving HBO Now in October 2019?
There will come some great movies to HBO Now in October, but watch out, a lot of amazing movies will leave the platform as well. The Justice League movie from DC Comics is actually quite entertaining and a good one for those who love super-heroes. The Danish Girl is the Academy Awarded movie for which Alicia Wikander won an award, Ferdinand is the awesome animated movie about the bull named Ferdinand, and then we have the Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. I guess these movies do not need a long presentation… For those who just want to stream pure action and crazy stunts, make sure to watch Skyscraper with Dwayne Johnson before October comes to an end!
