Ethos released their Universal Wallet at the start of July. Since then we have all waited for the start of the Community Airdrops. The date for the first airdrop was set for August 20th, and I just received my first tokens!
Ethos has tweeted a lot about the Community Airdrop in the last days, and they have said that they have to send the tokens in portions in order to not clog the Ethereum blockchain. That is why people will receive the tokens in a different order and at different times of the day.

I first checked my wallet approximately 12 hours ago, around 11.00 on August 21st. No tokens had arrived yet. I then checked my wallet a couple of times throughout the day, but nothing arrived. Then it was, just as I was going to sleep. I checked my wallet, and there they were – the first tokens sent to me as a part of the Community Airdrop.
Now, the value of the airdrop (as you can see from the screenshot) isn’t a lot. At the very moment, my 3,6 BDG tokens are worth a bit more than 0,02 USD. But, who cares? I wish I had bought three Bitcoins back in the days when they were valued at less than 1 USD. I will keep these tokens safe in my wallet for some years, and who knows what they will be worth some time in the future.
I should also mention that I like the concept of Bit Degree, so it is actually a token I would consider investing money in.
What will be the next airdropped token?
According to another tweet from Ethos, they will be dropping one token a day. So, hopefully, I will have received even more tokens to my wallet before I go to bed tomorrow. But, which token will be dropped tomorrow? I do not know yet, but my guess is that we will get tokens from Lympo, Polymath, OmiseGo, Restart Energy, Soma and Axpire first.
I am ready, so keep sending those tokens!
Have you received your Bit Degree tokens yet? According to Ethos, everyone will get exactly the same amount of tokens, so I believe you will receive 3.6 BDG tokens as well. I noticed that lots of people have complained about the value of the tokens airdropped. It could have been more, but it is also important to know that the value of the Bit Degree token has been as high as 0,25 USD. At the time the announcement of the partnership was made (March 26th), the value of the token was 0,043 USD, meaning that if we would have been given the tokens then, the value would have been a bit more than 0,12 Dollar. Not that much, but still 5 times more than they are worth today.
