How to watch Disney Plus abroad? How to pay for Disney Plus abroad?

Disney Plus is alive, and I have gotten my Disney Plus account registered in the United States active and well working. Would you like to do the same? It might feel complicated, but if you have some patience, you should be able to get it working within not too long!

First of all, you will need to have a VPN subscription running with ExpressVPN.

ExpressVPN49% discount – 3 free months

ExpressVPN has a 30-day full refund policy, so there is no risk in trying this. And that might be useful to know, especially considering that some people have had trouble actually watching Disney Plus abroad. But, I have used ExpressVPN myself to watch The Mandalorian online, and more Disney Plus content will be streamed soon, but first – I wanted to update this article with information!

When you have the ExpressVPN subscription, open the application and connect to a server in San Francisco in the United States. Now it is time to create a brand new Google account. Make sure to stay connected to the VPN server in the United States along the way. In the end, buy a Google Play American gift-card from here and add the balance to your Google Play account (the newly created account in the United States).

When this is done, you will have a permanently American Google account. Register the same Google account on your Android device.

Visit the Google Play Store and search for DisneyPlus. If you cannot find it on your Android device, open Google Play Store in Windows, use your brand new Google account, and press download next to the Disney Plus application. It will then be automatically downloaded to your Android device.

Open the application on your Android device (which also runs with an active VPN connection), create your account, and pay using your Google account gift card balance.

You are now ready to stream Disney+ online, all across the world.

You can use the same instructions if you use an iOS device, but you will then need to buy an Apple Store US Gift Card instead. You will also need to have an American registered Apple account. This can easily be fixed if you create a brand new Apple ID at apple.com. Register with an address in the USA, and apply your gift card later. Use these credentials as you visit the Apple Store. You will then be able to download the Disney+ application and later subscribe and pay for your subscription!

The most important fact, ExpressVPN works with Disney + and will let you stream the magnificent content of the platform online.

The highlights on Disney Plus upon arrival

On November 12th, the platform will be released in the United States, in Canada, and in the Netherlands. One week later, Disney Plus will be released in Australia and in New Zealand. When the rest of the world will get access to the platform is still unknown!

Will there be different content in different nations on Disney+?

This is a very good question and one I cannot give an answer to yet. With Netflix, there is lots of differences when it comes to content between the different nations, and thus users use a VPN to access content available only in certain countries and regions. Will there be a need for such solutions on Disney Plus as well, or will the content be identical in every single nation?
