Telegram integrated into the new XWallet

Pundi X has just released its brand new version of the XWallet, version 2.0, and with this brand new version, several new functions have come into being. One of the most important functions is integrating Telegram into the wallet, making it easy to chat, but also to receive and to gift cryptocurrencies to people you chat with!

To celebrate the brand new wallet, there will even be an “airdrop”, or maybe better called a CryptoGift event held at July 12th between 20.00 and 21.00 GMT+8. If you live in Central Europe (CET), that should be between 14.00 and 15.00 on July 12th. The gift drop will be for the first 4000 people in the chat, and it will actually be quite easy to get it. This is what you need to do in order to be entitled and to have a chance to receive one of the 4000 gifts.

  • You need to install the XWallet on your device.
  • You need to open the chat option and connect it with Telegram.
  • You then need to be active in the chat and be quick to “receive” the gift as it is spread around in the official Pundi X Twitter channel sometime between 14.00-15.00 CET on July 12th.

But, the new XWallet isn’t only about receiving a gift. With this new version, you can easily send gifts to either private chat partners, or to groups of people. If you decide to send a gift to a private person, it will be added to their wallet if they receive it and “unpack” it within 24 hours. If not, it will be returned to your again.

If you send a gift to a group, the gift will be divided around to the number of people you have set for the gift. So, if you want to send a gift to 20 random people in a group, the first 20 people to actually receive the gift will be the lucky takers!

Which tokens can be sent as gifts in XWallet 2.0?

Currently, the following cryptocurrencies are supported by the XWallet:

  • BTC
  • ETH
  • NPXS
  • BNB
  • XEM
  • NPXSXEM

Other functions in the wallet is the staking option. Here you can lock your NPXS tokens or your NPXSXEM tokens for a set amount of time, and you will receive FX tokens for the staking job. This can be useful and should absolutely be done if you are in it for the long run and have no plan to sell your tokens within the coming month or two.

There is also a daily gift available in the XWallet app. You can log in to the XWallet every day and receive a gift with a 0,01 USD value (given in NPXS) tokens. That is not very much, but who knows – if NPXS will moon and be worth 100 times more than now in the future, this is actually 1 USD per day as a gift. Now, that might be exaggerating, but still – it is a cool function giving you one more reason to open the XWallet app every single day!

But when will Pundi X moon?

No worries – we are in it for the long run, and considering that this is real project with a real product and great plans for the future, I wouldn’t worry. And when things starts to heat up, things can go quickly. Anyone remember how Verge went from 50 Satoshi in price to 1600 Satoshi in price in about a month? That was December 2017. I am not saying that this will happen with Pundi X, but I am saying that anything can happen!

What do you think about the new XWallet?

Have you tried XWallet 2.0? Do you like it? Will you be there on Telegram for the Gift Drop on July 12th?
