Being a portal sharing information about how to bypass geo-blocks, it was really interesting to receive emails from YouTube about our very own material being geo-blocked by the platform.
NBC from abroad – BLOCKED
You probably know that NBC is blocked for users trying to watch the programs on demand outside the United States. But, last week we received an email from YouTube saying that the video has just been blocked in the United States and in Canada on a demand from NBC Universal… in other words, the video is unavailable if you live in the United States or in Canada. Blacklist season 6 on Netflix – Blocked
One of our most popular YouTube videos is the instructions on how to watch The Blacklist season 6 on Netflix. But, a few weeks ago YouTube told us that after a request from Zefr SonyPicture, the video has been blocked in American Samoa, Guam, Marshall Islands, Micronesia – Federated States of, Northern Mariana Islands, Palau, United States, United States Minor Outlying Islands, and in United States Virgin Islands. It seems as if the video is blocked in even more countries than the one you see in the list above… I don’t have the full numbers, but I just got a blocked message myself trying to watch it in Hungary…
Based on the fact that YouTube seems to have blocked my video about streaming The Blacklist season 6 online, I quickly created a new video without any clips from the action episodes. I hope this will last longer!

If you like The Handmaid’s Tale, you for sure know what I am speaking about. But, if you have trouble watching The Handmaid’s Tale season 3 online, our YouTube video will not help you anymore. You can easily include small clips from the trailers and episodes in a “positive” video, or in a “coming to Hulu” video, but if you include a smart part of the show in a video explaining how to watch The Handmaid’s Tale online, it will be blocked. And yes, our video on how to watch The Handmaid’s Tale online was blocked in its entirety, all across the world. But, once again… if you need help streaming The Handmaid’s Tale online, follow these instructions instead.
I guess there is freedom of speech, but once you say something that the TV networks do not like, they will be quick to silence you as long as it is in their power. That is why we also write articles, to make sure that the content is available both in writing here in the IP Address Guide, on Steemit and also on YouTube!
