What’s coming to HBO Now in April 2019?

April 2019 is the most anticipated month among HBO fans worldwide in all of 2019. Not because April is a beautiful spring month, and not because April will bring some amazing movies to HBO Now. In fact, it is a rather boring month when I think of theatrical premieres. But, April 2019 is all about Game of Thrones on HBO Now.

I just read another article about what’s coming to HBO Now in April 2019, and I very much liked the way the author of the article described what April is about on HBO Now.

He used the following words to describe April on HBO Now:
Game of Thrones, Game of Thrones, and Game of Thrones. Also some other new stuff that’s not Game of Thrones. But mostly Game of Thrones.

I guess that is how most people feel about April on HBO Now. It is all about Game of Thrones which will have its season premiere on HBO Now on April 14th. We have already written a lot about Game of Thrones here in the IP Address Guide, and if you want to be prepared for the final season, check our guide on how to watch Game of Thrones season 8 online.

But, what else will come to HBO Now in April 2019 besides Game of Thrones?

Have you read through the lists yet? Do you agree with me that there isn’t much to look forward to on HBO Now in April 2019 besides Game of Thrones? Normally, the theatrical premieres are the highlights on HBO Now in the different months, but I have got to say that I am not too enthusiastic about those in April 2019.

The Nun looks like an incredibly scare movie, so if you like such movies, you might want to watch this on HBO Now. But, after watching the trailer I just know one thing for sure – this is not a movie for me.

Crazy Rich Asians looks kind of boring to me, even though it has a kind of cool plot and might be an interesting movie. But, based on the trailer it did not manage to catch my interest.

BlacKkKlansman might be the most interesting of the thetrical premieres on HBO Now in April. It has humor, it is about a serious issue, but it has something to it that makes me want to take a look at it. How can a black man stop the Ku Klux Klan from killing black people? How can a black man convince the Ku Klux Klan leaders that he is an arian white guy and thus get information about what they are up to next?

The Darkest Minds is one more movie about kids with special skills. It is packed with people lifting objects with their eyes, and they are fighting the evil guys who tries to take advantage of their skills. This might be a hit among those in love with such kind of movies, but that person isn’t me…
