Big Little Lies season 2 will come to HBO Now in June 2019.
Big Little Lies season 2 will come to HBO Now in June 2019.

May has been a strong month on HBO Now in the USA, and the season finale of Game of Thrones brought more than 13 million viewers to watch it live on HBO in the USA, and in addition, more than 5 million people streamed it live online. Those numbers are only for the USA, meaning that if you add everyone streaming it online in the other nations of the world and even include does who download it (illegally) you have a number probably around 100,000,000 (that is at least my guess). But, Game of Thrones season 8 wasn’t the only highlight on HBO Now in May. HBO Now subscribers could also enjoy the season finale of Veep, and the mini-series named Chernobyl was added to the platform.

But, what will happen in June? What are you gonna stream on HBO Now in June 2019?

Robin Hood, 2018 (6/29)

There is little doubt about the fact that A Star is Born is the big highlight on HBO Now in June 2019. It will come to the platform on June 8th, and this Academy Awarded movie tells the story of Bradley Cooper (a successful singer) embracing, encouraging and helping the character of Lady Gaga to become a star as they perform together. Many people have said that in real life it feels like the opposite as you see them on stage… Lady Gaga is out there helping and encouraging Bradley Cooper, but in the movie, the opposite is the reality.

The Robin Hood movie received very bad critics all around the world and it did not turn into the success story the creators had hoped for. But, maybe it will have greater success and bring viewers to HBO Now as it comes to the platform on June 29th? Maybe you didn’t want to pay for the cinema ticket after the poor reviews, but if you have an HBO subscription, you might want to watch it no matter what!

The Old Man and His Gun looks like a brilliant movie. It tells the story of an old and polite man who has a polite way of robbing banks. Even though he is nice, the craziness has to stop, and Casey Affleck puts on the character of the officer doing his uttermost to grab a hold of our old man and his gun.

Would you like some more action, almost scary horror, then you better go for Bad Times at the El Royale, a movie coming to HBO Now on June 1st. This is a star-specked movie and it tells about seven people residing at the same hotel one night. They have all done terrible things in the past, and this special night will be a leap-stone for all of them.
