Paramount Plus is the name of a very popular streaming service in the United States. It was known as CBS All Access for a long time, but on March 4th in 2021, it was changed to Paramount Plus (or Paramount+). Would you like to watch Paramount Plus while using a VPN? Are you sitting on a Starbucks in New York and you want to stream The Young Sheldon, but you do not want to compromise your online safety and data? Or are you using public WiFi in a hotel, or maybe you are sitting at home, but want that extra layer of security? Or maybe you are in Europe or in Africa, and you really want to watch a Champions League football match on Paramount Plus? Is NordVPN a good solution for those who want to stream Paramount Plus while using a VPN?
Maybe you wonder what this is all about? Aren’t all VPN services good if you want to surf securely online? To be honest, most VPN providers might give you an extra layer of security, but there are a lot of things worth considering before purchasing a VPN subscription. First of all, NordVPN supports cryptocurrency payments, something that is preferred by many people who take privacy seriously. But, it is also worth knowing that Paramount Plus is currently blocking access to people using different VPN connections. This is in order to avoid abuse, and also in order to follow the licensing agreements they have made with different content providers. First of all, it is about blocking access to the service to people located outside the United States.
So, the questions isn’t really just about whether NordVPN is a good VPN or not, but whether or not NordVPN will actually let you stream content on Paramount Plus while being connected to one of their VPN servers.
Will NordVPN give access to Paramount Plus?
This is the most important question, and the answer to the question is YES! I have just tried it myself (and I have tried it several times before as well), and you can just connect to any server in the USA with NordVPN, and you will be able to stream content on Paramount Plus.
It is important to notice that if you activate the CyberSec feature within NordVPN (something that will block ads and malicious websites), you might see the following error message as you try to stream content on Paramount Plus.
Since I saw the message above, I had to disable CyberSec (a feature that is disabled by default in NordVPN, but that I activated manually). After that, I got rid of the message, and I was able to stream NCIS online on Paramount Plus using NordVPN.
As you can see from the screenshot above, everything is working perfectly, and I can stream all the content on Paramount Plus using NordVPN.

NordVPN has a 30-day full refund policy. In other words, if you purchase a subscription but do not like it, you can easily ask for a full refund and have all your money returned. They have applications for Windows, Android, iOS, Macintosh, and more platforms!
NordVPN also has a SmartDNS solution running within their VPN client. This means that if you connect to a VPN server in Sweden and visit Netflix.com, you will see the content of American Netflix. This is also working with quite a lot of other streaming services and TV networks, but based on my tests, it doesn’t currently support Paramount Plus. That doesn’t really matter, but all it means is that you need to be connected to a server in the USA for Paramount Plus to work perfectly.
