The different Blindspot seasons
The first season of Blindspot premiered on NBC in September 2015. Originally, only thirteen episodes were ordered, but due to the popularity of the show, they quickly added nine more episodes and one more bonus episode in the end. As a result, the first season of Blindspot consisted of 23 episodes. The different episodes were viewed by an average of approximately 7 million people in the United States per episode.

The third season had a steady amount of viewers for a while, but then, in the end, the number fell to around 2,75 million viewers.
Blindspot season 4 premiered on NBC in October 2018. For some reason, this season experienced increased popularity, but then towards the end, the viewers seemed to get bored and it ended with around 2 million viewers in the United States. For a long time, the number seemed to worry NBC, and it was only after nineteen episodes of The Blacklist season 4 (in May 2019), that they decided to prolong the story for one final season consisting of 13 episodes.
Blindspot season 5 will premiere on NBC … We don’t know yet.
